Spider-Man: Miles Morales contains inspiring compliments to Chadwick Boseman, Stanley

Secret tribute to Chadwick Boseman found hidden in Marvel video game

Spider-Man: Miles Morales launched to general acclaim alongside the PS5 on November 12, making it one of two Marvel games, the other being Marvel's Avengers, to release in the wake of Chadwick Boseman's passing in August of this year.

Number 42 has a lot of implications for Boseman, who starred as Jackie Robinson in movie 42. Released in 2013, the film launched Boseman into stardom and led to a bevy of other leading man roles like Black Panther.

Marvel fans are happy to see that Spider-Man: Miles Morales comes with tributes to two of the MCU's biggest stars- Stan Lee and Chadwick Boseman. He was ailing from Colon Cancer and was fighting a private battle. He continued to act in films like Black Panther, Da 5 Bloods, and more.

The remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man is available as part of the Ultimate Edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which retails for $ 69.99. He has a statue outside of a diner where he made a cameo in the previous Spider-Man game.

While adventuring in Insomniac's recreation of New York City, fans have noticed some pretty interesting references and easter eggs.

"In loving memory of a noble king, Chadwick Boseman".

Miles Morales also includes another monument for Marvel's Stanley, an in-game monument. A statue of the author of the legendary comic book can be found in the open world of the game on the Upper West Side next to Mick's Diner. His honor, strength, and compassion will reverberate for generations to come. In the credits, Insomniac Games pens a brief tribute to the deceased actor, citing the inspiration he had on so many. The street is actually the 42nd Street.
