Neymar to start for PSG against RB Leipzig on Tuesday: Thomas Tuchel

PSG and Kylian Mbappe host Toulouse in a French Ligue 1 match

The Brazilian forward returned from a three-week hamstring injury layoff on Friday but couldn't stop his side falling to a frustrating 3-2 defeat at Monaco.

PSG host RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday night - in a crucial game if they are going to reach the last-16 stage.

PSG were 2-0 up at half time thanks to a double from Kylian Mbappe but a second-half brace from Kevin Volland and a Fabregas penalty after Abdou Diallo's red card completed the turnaround.

It was PSG's third defeat of the Ligue 1 season and throws the top-flight race wide open after Tuchel's team threatened to run away with the league again after eight straight wins.

Vasilyev, who was sporting director at Monaco when Mbappe left for PSG in 2017, believes one of the most exciting talents in the global game will be mulling over his options when it comes to a big career call.

'We knew that they had a hard match on Tuesday against Leipzig, so we hoped that they would be a bit less aggressive in the second half.

"In the first two minutes of the second half, we had two very high recoveries but then we stopped completely".

"This is why we are completely responsible".

"Neymar? He is determined".

But they are in a very uncomfortable position in the Champions League as they lie third in Group H on three points, three behind Leipzig and leaders Manchester United with three games remaining.

"The match against Leipzig is going to be very hard, but it would not have been much different if we'd won", Tuchel said of Tuesday's continental clash.

"The mix between the two matches, Monaco and Leipzig, is perhaps also a reason which explains why we lost our concentration".
