Walmart Expands Black Friday Into 3 Events in November

Walmart turns Black Friday into multi-weekend sales campaign

Walmart announced that it is adapting to meet the evolving needs of its customers this holiday season.

Eager to capture any holiday-related spending as early as possible this year, Walmart Inc, ASOS, Best Buy and other major retailers are turning Black Friday into a multi-day promotion.

"Walmart will also host its biggest wireless phone event ever in-stores and online on Sat., Nov. 14 with fantastic deals on iPhones and Samsung phones", the company added.

Walmart Inc., the Bentonville, Arkansas-headquartered world's No. 1 brick-and-mortar and online retailer, had issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the retailer had been mulling an option to span its conventional one-day Black Friday deals over three weekends in November in a bid to downsize traffics at its in-store holdings due to the pandemic outbreak.

The sales continue in stores on November 7 at 5 p.m. with great deals like a Magic Bullet Blender for $15; new sales will also go live online that day.

A lot of people have been wondering how Walmart will continue their Black Friday sales this year with the pandemic going on.

Besides, the November 4 online sales would follow an in-store discount shopping on November 7. This time, items that will be marked down will include TVs, computers, tablets, movies, music and more.

McCall famous that Walmart was compelled to rethink Black Friday when the pandemic was declared. Deals will first be offered at Walmart.com on Wed., Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. ET. Walmart will also host its biggest wireless phone event ever in-store and online on Sat., Nov. 14, with special deals on iPhones and Samsung phones. These deals will launch online Wednesday, Nov. 11 and in-store Saturday, Nov. 14. Like before, expect the deals to be first listed at 7 p.m. EST.

Customers will find incredible savings at Walmart outside of its "Black Friday Deals for Days" event.

"We've been very thoughtful as we planned this year's event. By spreading deals out across multiple days and making our hottest deals available online, we expect the Black Friday experience in our stores will be safer and more manageable for both our customers and our associates", said McCall. Physical stores will then open at 5 a.m. local time.

The nation's largest retailer mentioned Wednesday that extra of its doorbuster offers might be reserved for on-line, as a method to steer extra consumers away from its shops.

In an effort to keep customers and workers safe, shoppers will form a single file line outside the store and receive sanitized carts upon entry, the company said.
