With the news that Jared Leto is returning as Joker for Zack Snyder's Justice League, there doesn't seem to be any reason why Manganiello couldn't also come back as Deathstroke. The character meets Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and is likely to have some greater participation in other future productions.

Some of the actors who will appear in the updated version of the Justice League include Ray Fisher and Amber Heard, who portrayed Mera. According to recent reports, Leto has been going to re-shoot sessions of the feature film about the DC characters. Manganiello promised his fans on Twitter (@JoeManganiello) and Instagram (@joemanganiello) that the original post-credits scene will be added into the new cut.
