OR sees 366 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday; no new deaths
The state is reporting 1,063 new COVID-19 cases and nine new deaths in South Dakota Sunday.
The state said there were 232,253 people tested from Sunday to Friday with 11,679 positive cases - for a 5% positivity rate.
There are 287 people hospitalized around the state, and 77 percent of general hospital beds and 50 percent of intensive care unit beds in New Mexico are occupied. Westmoreland County reported 72 cases (3.5%).
Although, state health minister Satyendar Jain said that the overall Covid-19 situation is under control adding the government is doing all it can.
The highest number of cases is in Dublin, where 255 new cases have been recorded.
The University of Portland has two confirmed cases of COVID-19, one off-campus and one on campus, according to Vice President of Marketing and Communications Michael Lewellen.
Although Gov. Kate Brown has recently eased some restrictions, like allowing bowling alleys and skating rinks to reopen in the Portland area, she announced on Friday that Multnomah County is back on the "watch list", meaning public health officials will keep closer tabs on it.
Everyone needs to continue to wear masks, wash their hands regularly and practice social distancing.
The positivity rate is 8%.
About 2.21 million people in Pennsylvania have tested negative for the virus; in total, just more than 2.4 million people have been tested for the virus in the state.
These three are now in quarantine, along with the other mariners who had earlier tested positive. This group accounts for the largest age demographic for both hospitalizations and deaths. These deaths account for almost 66% of the state's total.
There are more than 42 million confirmed cases of coronavirus and more than 1.1 million deaths worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins researchers.
