According to Illinois Department of Public Health data as of Monday, there have been 4,494 people tested for COVID-19 in 60548 (including Sandwich) with 286 confirmed cases, 4,150 tested in 60545 (including Plano) with 327 confirmed cases, 8,090 tested in 60560 (including Yorkville) with 372 confirmed cases, 9.046 tested in 60538 (including Montgomery) with 656 confirmed cases and 12,011 tested in 60543 (including Oswego) with 666 confirmed cases.

The omission of the number of people hospitalized who've tested positive for COVID-19 comes just a few days after the county announced on Monday that it would no longer be reporting the number of residents under quarantine/isolation orders.

"We're doing the best we can to report on new, active and recovered cases as well as deaths". That figure does not include a positive case at William Woods University, two cases at Westminster College or 96 active cases at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center (87 among inmates and nine among staff).

Three patients at Lawrence's hospital had COVID-19 on Thursday, one more than Wednesday.
