LG unveils the first Tone Free wireless earphones with ANC

LG Tone Free HBS-FN7 True Wireless Earphones Launched featuring Active Noise Cancellation

Like the Tone Free HBS-FN6 models, the HBS-FN7 true wireless earphones have launched first in South Korea, with North America, Europe and Asia following in the coming months.

The charging case of the LG Tone Free HBS-FN7 has the company's UVnano technology, which uses UV light to sanitise the earphones.

The key feature on the LG Tone Free HBS-FN7 is active noise cancellation, which uses a three-microphone system in each earpiece to hear external noise and cancel it out. The charging case comes with the company's own UVnano technology which is said to kill up to 99.99% certain types of bacteria.

LG claims that the Tone Free HBS-FN7 TWS earphones can deliver a total of 15 hours of battery with the charging case.

Like all LG TONE Free earbuds, the HBS-FN7 features technology from Meridian Audio, the renowned British audio technology company and LG's trusted partner in delivering superior sound.

Accessible through the LG TONE Free app available for both Android and iOS devices, Meridian's EQ sound settings provide an elevated listening experience via four customized presets: Natural for a clean, balanced sound, Immersive for a more three-dimensional performance, Bass Boost for extra power and depth and Treble Boost to bring greater clarity to vocals. Battery life is rated at up to five hours with ANC enabled and up to seven with it switched off. The earphones also feature an IPX4 rating for dust and water resistance, and the case offers wireless charging. The UVnano charging case can provide can two additional full charges. Additionally, it also supports wireless charging.

These new earbuds will be available in Stylish Black and Modern White color options. The earphones use Bluetooth 5.1, with support for the SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. The Tone Free HBS-FN7 TWS earphones that succeed the HBS-FN6 TWS buds are now available in South Korea, and the company is yet to share more details about its global availability.
