Indianapolis Colts close facility after 'several' positive Covid-19 tests

Colts are 4-2 All the good and all the bad after their win over Bengals

The Colts have closed their practice facility after being informed of "several" positive COVID-19 tests within the organization.

Friday morning, the Indianapolis Colts released a statement confirming reports that they had shut down their facilities after a wave of positive coronavirus tests.

On Friday, the Indianapolis Colts were the team affected by COVID-19 tests.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero noted that these are the first COVID-19 issues the Colts have experienced since initial screening in late July. The Jets later determined the test result was a false positive and went on to play their Week 5 game two days later.

The Colts are scheduled to have a home game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. "We are in communication with the National Football League and will have more information when available".

The team has not identified the people who tested positive - unclear if it's players, coaches, execs, etc. Such has been the case for the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots following their outbreaks in recent weeks. There were positive tests on the Atlanta Falcons this week, though as of Friday morning their game against the Minnesota Vikings was still scheduled for Sunday.

The Colts are the second team to shut down their facility within the last 24 hours.
