Google Pixel 4a: Sublime camera, seamless app experience

Google Pixel 4a sales start in India getting a discount of Rs 2,000

The newly released Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 come with a revamped version of the Recorder app, an immensely useful voice recording app that Google debuted past year on the Pixel 4. Price and Sale OffersGoogle Pixel 4a has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 31,999, which is the price of its exclusively 6GB + 128GB storage variant. The app picked up a ton of features earlier this week with its second big update, and it doesn't look like Google is willing to stop there. This device from Google comes with the latest Android 11 operating system.

Similar to Google Photos, you'll also have the option to back up recordings only when you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.

At front is an 8MP (1.12 um pixel size with?/2.0 aperture) sensor with Fixed focus feature.

We still need to do some testing to see if there's a noticeable improvement in image quality when compared to last year's Pixel 4, but so far we're pretty happy with the results we've seen from the new Pixel 5.

Talking about the specifications, It comes with a 5.8-inch OLED display and Personal Safety app for real-time emergency notifications. It also has Live Caption, which provides real-time captioning for your video and audio content. While the Pixel 4a will continue to be available on Flipkart at a later date, Nest Audio will also become available at Reliance Retail and Tata Cliq.

Measuring 144x 69.4 x 8.2mm, the handset is backed by a 3140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The "adaptive" battery learns which apps are your favourite and reduces power to the ones that you rarely use. The Pixel 4a sports a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 443ppi pixel density. As it disappeared off the shelves on the first day of the festive sale proves that Pixel lovers in the country know what it has in it. For photo enthusiasts, camera is an out-of-this-world experience, not available even with the heavyweights.
