Ronaldo initially tested positive for coronavirus on October 13 and according to Portuguese outlet Correio de Manha he returned another positive test on Thursday, putting his chances of appearing in next week's clash in jeopardy.

Ronaldo, who is the all-time top-scorer in the UEFA Champions League, was last seen in action in Portugal's 0-0 draw away to France in the UEFA Nations League.

The 35-year-old forward tested positive for coronavirus initially on October 13 during global duty with Portugal.
If he tests negative, then it will be up to UEFA to decide whether he should play the match or not.
In Serie A, Juventus take on Genoa this Sunday and Ronaldo will also be unavailable for that fixture.
Reports suggest that UEFA rules state a player should test negative for the virus at least a week before a match for the player to be eligible to play.
Ronaldo, who has been recovering home has been sharing pictures of himself keeping fit at home after he tested positive for the virus on global duty.
Juventus haven't totally given up yet for his return just in time against Barcelona.
Other soccer players who have tested positive for COVID-19 recently include Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, Paul Pogba, Paulo Dybala, Ángel Di María, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Diego Costa.
