COVID-19 hospitalizations and active cases see major jump
That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 5,337; the death count is at 198.
Pike County has seen 621 cases of coronavirus and 26 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
"In the past 24 hours, Russian Federation has confirmed 16,550 COVID-19 cases in 85 regions, of which 4,372 (26.4 percent) were detected actively, with people showing no clinical symptoms", the response center said, adding that the case count has reached 1,547,774. Daily increases are now comparable with what we saw in April 2020. Overall, 2,419 total deaths have been reported in Minnesota.
Over 142,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Minnesota, with over 124,000 no longer needing to be in isolation.
Mask-wearing is required in all businesses and whenever leaving home.
The latest measures are a departure from the spring, when authorities introduced unpopular lockdown measures including bans on non-essential walks outside while Russian Federation was seeing fewer than 10,000 daily Covid-19 cases on average.
The health department's travel-related quarantine policy for people who are coming into the state or returning from other areas can be found here. With the new cases, Clark County's total confirmed cases is 4,734 to date.
