Meet Rami Malek's Bond villain Safin in 'No Time to Die' clip

Now, the makers have released a new teaser video introducing Rami Malek's villainous character Safin. We'll see - assuming No Time to Die ever comes out, that is.

"James Bond fans have been given a glimpse into his" unsettling" Fresh adversary Safin at a Brand New clip previewing the long-awaited No Time To Die.

Despite Bond leaving active service and hoping to enjoy a peaceful life in Jamaica, he's quickly pulled back into the chaos of the secret service when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the Central Intelligence Agency turns up, asking for his help. The new trailer gives hints about Safin's mission.

"What he wants and what he's willing to do makes him a very frightening character", says director Cary Joji Fukunaga in a video introducing the ominous new character. But, that is about to change if his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) in the Central Intelligence Agency arrives, asking for support. Thinking of himself as heroic...

From what we can tell after watching the brilliant and breathless recent trailer, we're speculating that Safin may have plans to unleash some kind of pandemic upon the world and it's up to Bond and Friends to stop him.

No Time To Die in cinemas this November.

Plot details remain firmly under wraps, but it is said in a clip of the movie that Safin is "going to kill millions" as part of a revenge plan.

The film also stars Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Ana de Armas, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes.

Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge worked on the screenplay, which is based on a story by Purvis, Wade, and Cary Joji Fukunaga.
