Project xCloud renamed Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, launches tomorrow

Microsoft's Microsoft xCloud game streaming service goes live with 150 games

Cloud streaming is available as part of Microsoft's Game Pass Ultimate subscription at no additional cost.

According to the press release, the partnership will facilitate the sales of Games Pass Ultimate and Xbox All Access subscriptions worldwide. This includes friends, achievements, parties and voice chat, cloud saves and the ability to enjoy multiplayer with other gamers, irrespective of whether they are playing on console or via the cloud. As of this writing, cloud gaming is available only in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States. Moreover, just like with the Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC, you can expect the roster of titles to grow with new titles added all the time. If you're looking for the ultimate mobile gaming bundle, Microsoft can sell you a controller for mobile gaming along with the Galaxy Note 20 flagship. After that, Microsoft will then ask $14.99 per month for access to Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass PC, Xbox Live Gold and the new Xbox Cloud Gaming service.

Microsoft is also experimenting with full touch controls, which you can see in action in Minecraft Dungeons in the video down below, which is flawless if you don't fancy carrying around an entire Xbox controller every time you want to stream games on your phone. Racing fans will also find Forza Horizon 4 and F1 2019 in the list, and there's a real focus on shooters as well with Halo: MCC, Halo 5: Guardians, Gears 5, and Destiny 2 (available Sept 22).

You should also remember that EA Play is set to also game to Ultimate during Holiday 2020, likely around the Series X and Series S launch, also at no added cost. Check the links below for more details.
