Family of Carole Baskin’s missing ex-husband airs advert during DWTS

Carole Baskin responds to

Viewers took to Twitter to discuss the episode, with one writing: "The family of Don Lewis, the man many believe to have been murdered and fed to tigers by Carole Baskin, ran a commercial looking for justice for Don during tonight's Dancing with the Stars premiere featuring Carole Baskin".

It was paid for and featured the family of the Netflix star's missing ex-husband Don Lewis. According to TMZ, all of them "allege Carole has something to do with Don's disappearance".

Baskin has repeatedly denied the claims, for which she has never been charged.

Carole Baskin was given the opportunity to appear on ABC's Dancing With The Stars after the success of the documentary earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Baskin has been basking in the limelight, and Monday night's debut performance was a flawless example.

It was given 11 by the judges but it was the advert in the commercial break that got the biggest reaction online.

The spot opened with Lewis's three daughters Gale, Lynda and Donna explaining how much they miss their dad and how they "need to know what happened" to him.

Finally, all four women were beside the Lewis family attorney, John M. Phillips, as he stated, "Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997. Do you know who did this or if Carole Baskin was involved?" he asks.

Lewis' family has posted a $100,000 reward for any information that leads them to his whereabouts or what happened to him. Lewis was declared legally dead in 2002, however, due to interest in the case sparked by Tiger King, police in Florida have reopened the case and sent out an appeal for information. He and Baskin started the animal sanctuary, which later became Big Cat Rescue Corp.in Tampa, Florida.

In a lengthy post to her Big Cat blog, Carole said she was "disappointed" by the "salacious lies" reported in Tiger King.
