Drug Chat: Deepika to issue a statement

SSR case NCB summons Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash talent agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar

The Narcotics Control Bureau's notice to Bollywood star Deepika Padukone's manager may cause tension to the actress.

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has now trained her guns at Deepika Padukone, whose name has cropped up in the drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Karishma is employed with KWAN Talent Management Agency. She used to manage Sushant Singh Rajput and works with Karishma.

So far, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika's names have been dragged into this drug case.

Deepika Padukone allegedly chatting about drugs with her manager has sent shock waves across the film industry, and is cause for enormous embarrassment for both Deepika's and her husband Ranveer Singh's families.

Just yesterday, various channels revealed that Jaya Saha supplied CBD oil to an actress named "S" on her contact list.

This FIR is separate from another one registered against Rhea in relation to the chats that ED had found on her cellphone where she was "discussing narcotics".

Besides Prakash and Dhruv, the NCB has also summoned Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha for more questioning. On Monday, Jaya Saha was questioned by the NCB with regards to Bollywood drugs angle.

The National Award-winning actor had earlier tweeted, "Ranbir Kapoor is a serial skirt chaser but no one dares call him a rapist, Deepika is a self-proclaimed mental illness patient but no one calls her a psycho or a witch, this name-calling is reserved only for extraordinary outsiders who come from small towns and humble families".
