The 'Marvel's Avengers' beta will let you earn 'Fortnite' swag
The previous War Table showed us new gameplay and missions, but now the news is beginning to ramp up.
However, this new crossover doesn't focus on Fortnite as much as it does Marvel's Avengers by Square Enix. As explained in the previous War Table, WARZONES are actual missions you can play with a team of friends, or AI.
Marvel's Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco - including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. War Zones can be played solo or with a group of up to four players** as any Hero in your roster.
After these assignments are finished, the beta will start to allow players to test a great number of match modes together with around 20 single-player and co-op amounts out there. We first saw a collaboration with Marvel Avengers for Infinity War with the Thanos LTM followed up by another collaboration for End Game.
KitGuru Says: Marvel's Avengers is looking promising in my opinion. Each mission dynamically scales based on the team size and player level. Once you're done with this mission, the game opens up a bit.
Players in Marvel's Avengers are also able to customize Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a number of ways. What you get is a full story that you can, uniquely, play his story as a full co-op experience. But that's just the beginning.
In other news for those looking forward to Marvel's Avengers, its devs have also dropped a new teaser trailer showcasing a planned DLC pack post-release that will add bowslinger Hawkeye to the game. Xbox and PC pre-order owners will be able to jump in from August 21-23, and finally all players on all platforms will be able to try the game from August 21-23. You can get one nameplate for the full game for participating in the beta and a second one for beating the HARM Challenge Rooms. The free update to PS5 and Xbox Series X will be available from the debut of the next-gen consoles.
