After speculations that Taylor Swift might have revealed Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' third child's name in her new song, Swift is now revealing the truth about her song Betty. Couplets such as "Take me to the lakes, where all the poets went to die // I don't belong and, my beloved, neither do you" and "A red rose grew up out of ice frozen ground // With no one around to tweet it" is the invisible string tying reputation and folklore together. Swift concluded, confirming that she used the names of Lively and Reynolds' daughters, including 3½-year-old Inez, as inspiration.

In an interview with Country Radio Taylor confirmed: "I named all the characters in this story after my friends' kids".

Reynolds and Lively are parents to three daughters, James, 5, Inez, 3 and Betty who was born past year in October.

She said the song is written from the perspective of a teenage boy who had just lost the love of his life. Reps for Lively and Reynolds did not return a request for comment at the time. Later lines include: "You heard the rumors from Inez/ You can't believe a word she says" and "She said, 'James, get in, let's drive".

Since the release of the superstar singer's eighth studio album, folklore, on July 24, fans have been pouring over the lyrics to each track.

If that's not enough for you, Fightful can EXCLUSIVELY REPORT that AEW main event star Ricky Starks also loved the album. The famous couple's first daughter Inez even lent her voice to the intro of Taylor's 2017 song Gorgeous.

Taylor Swift has explained where the name of her new song "Betty", from the "Folklore" album, really came from.

The American smashed into No. 1 with her album "Folklore", which garnered a 9/10 on Clash.

The return to the country genre comes six years since Swift shifted gears to pop with her 1989 album in 2014.
