Sunday Pop Culture: FBI raids California home of YouTube star Jake Paul

Law enforcement sources tell 360aproko ... there were multiple guns taken from Jake's crib in Calabasas during Wednesday's Federal Bureau of Investigation raid, and they're now being held by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for safekeeping.

The FBI raided the home in the 23500 block of Parksouth Street at around 6 a.m.

On Wednesday morning, the YouTuber's mansion in Calabasas was searched by the FBI "in connection with an ongoing investigation". Helicopter video from local TV news showed agents gathering guns from the home that can frequently be seen on Paul's YouTube channel, which has over 20 million followers.

We do know the raids were somehow connected to looting at a Scottsdale, AZ, mall ... where Jake and his friend were front and center. "No arrests are planned".

After the news hit headlines, Jake's attorney confirmed the social media star was out of state at the time, but didn't reveal why the Federal Bureau of Investigation were searching the property.

"I'll tell you what I know", Paul began.

"I know my brother's okay, physically he's fine, but I don't know. I'm out of the loop on this one guys", Logan said.

"Yeah, I checked in on him, he's fine, physically", he continued. The federal search warrant reportedly stems from an ongoing investigation. The affidavit in support of the search warrant has been sealed by a judge and I am, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation.

The FBI is investigating charges of lawbreaker acts containing the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020, Jill McCabe, a representative for the FBI Phoenix zone office, prompted The Washington Post in an email.

The 23-year-old Jake Paul and his older brother, 25-year-old Logan Paul, also a YouTube personality, are no strangers to controversy and legal hot water.
