Ori developer to create new game with publisher Private Division

Ori developer signs publishing deal with Take-Two's Private Division for new action-RPG

But what was equally surprising was that Microsoft didn't acquire Ori And The Blind Forest developer Moon Studios, considering the two Ori games have become the most critically acclaimed exclusives on the Xbox One. Private Division is also publishing League of Geeks' next video game. A clue has already given us the founder of the studio Thomas Mahler last April, when during an interview he clearly said that their next project has to do with humans, and not with fantastic creatures. OlliOlli developer Roll7 has agreed to a deal to create another "flow state" game for the publisher. Based in Melbourne, League fo Geeks are expected to establish a new digital board title.

"We attribute our success to the "iterative polish" process we use at Moon Studios, and we're continuing that style of development to create a new game that rises above anything we've created thus far". Private Division has also signed publishing agreements with developers League of Geeks and Roll7.

My guess is that since Private Division will be publishing it, this action RPG will be a multi-platform game. These partnerships will expand Private Division's portfolio of titles that includes the Kerbal Space Program franchise, The Outer Worlds, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, and Disintegration. "We're happy to announce that we're teaming up with three new studios".

"Our titles resonate with players because we strive for super-solid game feel, highly-refined gameplay, and simple but highly masterable mechanics", Roll7 chief creative officer John Ribbins said.

As a result of this series of new partnerships, Private Division promises to announce more details about each project soon.

Nothing of value was revealed except that the game is set in the Action RPG genre and is aiming for high standards.
