Home Ministry rejects Amit Shah's corona negative news

Amit Shah has not undergone any fresh COVID-19 test; MHA refutes negative report claim

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has given information in this regard by tweeting.

Earlier, Shah, the former BJP president, had announced last Sunday that he was COVID-19 positive, urging all those who had been in contact with him, to quarantine and get themselves tested for the virus. He deleted his tweet later.

"Home Minister Amit Shah ji's Covid report showed he is negative", Tiwari had tweeted in Hindi.

Shah was diagnosed with coronavirus on August 2 and is now admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

When a test will be done, everyone will be informed, the Home Ministry official further said as reported by PTI.

"I have tested positive but my health is fine", he said, adding that he has been hospitalised on the advice of doctors. After the clarification from the home ministry, Tiwari has also deleted his tweet that stated Shah has tested negative for coronavirus. He was admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram. My health is fine but I am getting admitted to hospital on advice of doctors after testing positive for COVID-19. "I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done".
