The last time the number of new cases was this low was Wednesday, July 15th.

Since March, 1,756 people have been diagnosed with the disease in Clark County. Twelve people are isolated at home and 35 of the county's 47 cases have recovered. No Washington County cases are hospitalized.

Jackson County Public Health stressed the importance of people to taking preventative action to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19 - wearing a mask, practicing physical distancing, washing hands regularly, and frequently disinfecting surfaces that are touched often.

It was the third straight day with a reported death at the long-term care facility, which is the site of the second deadliest outbreak of COVID-19 locally to date.
