Apple gets serious about gaming on the iPad

Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch

The new iPad Pro comes with a smart keyboard. As per the latest, Apple intends to introduce 2 new iPad variants which are a 10.8 inch iPad that is to launch later this year and an 8.5 inch iPad mini which would be launched at the start of the next year.

While not covered in the report, we imagine that the two new iPads will house the most recent A-series chip - the A14 - offering an upgrade to the current models' A12. For people want to use a keyboard for gaming, Apple will also allow you to press multiple keys at once, something which was not originally possible and will open up the options for the types of games that can be played on your iPad. Moving to 10.8 inches would make the display on the entry-level iPad nearly as big as the one on the base iPad Pro (11 inches). According to a report citing the analyst, the 8.5-inch iPad is said to be a new version of iPad mini, but it is unclear if the rumoured 10.8-inch iPad will also be a new version of the existing iPad models. The analyst claimed that this will be a refresh to the iPad Mini, which was last refreshed early previous year.

The 8.5-inch device, however, should be the new iPad mini.

The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) has published a new forecast for Apple plans to release new models of the iPad tablet line.

I've written, numerous times, about that second possibility, but in a nutshell, I think that would make the new mini the most exciting new iPad in years. If Apple does move the entry-level iPad to a larger display, then the solution becomes more obvious: get the entry-level iPad unless you're a so-called power user, in which case, go for the Pro.
