Todd Tilghman was declared the 2020 victor of The Voice during a special three-hour finale episode on Tuesday night (May 19). And in the second, each performed a duet with their respective coach. Not only was the 41-year-old the first person to grace the stage, he also created the season's first four-way chair turn during his soulful rendition of Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band's "We've Got Tonight".
Gwen took to her Instagram over the weekend to share the good news, posting an adorable photo of her and Blake smiling together alongside the hashtag #nobodybutyou. It's yet another win for Shelton, who is by far the most successful coach in the show's history, with seven wins.
The finale also saw the finalists, Clarkson, Jonas, Legend and Shelton team up with Season 18 Battle Advisor Bebe Rexha and former Voice coaches CeeLo Green and Shakira for a supergroup performance of Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open the Door". Coach Nick will perform again with his brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas, who also mentored his team during Season 18.
Additionally, the finale featured performances by Shelton and his longtime girlfriend Gwen Stefani, the Jonas Brothers with Karol G, Bon Jovi and Lady Antebellum.
