"Our goal has always been to bring Valorant to as much of the world as soon as possible, and we're hyped to be able to do so on June 2", said Anna Donlon, Executive Producer of Valorant at Riot Games in a press release.

Riot Games announced on the morning of May 21st, their new tactical shooter, VALORANT, will launch on June 2nd globally.

The game is now in its Closed Beta stage, which will wrap up on 28 May. Riot Games' first foray into the first-person shooter genre, after tremendous success over the last decade with MOBA League of Legends, is sure to be a success, and the beta definitely warmed huge amounts of players to it. The only way to gain access to the beta was to watch a stream of someone else playing the game and get a code, something that will be going away with the full release.

We can confirm now that players will get to keep some of the progress they've earned, and exactly how long you've got to level up. So, as you'd expect, your progress from the beta won't be carried over.

Shortly after the game's official launch, Riot Games has plans to release new game content, in the form of new game modes, agents, and maps to add more depth to gameplay. In response, Riot updated the driver to allow it to be more easily deactivated or uninstalled, but still require that it is running at system boot in order to play the game. This will enable " the team at Riot to reset player accounts, patch new content, and prepare for the beginning of Valorant's worldwide launch", the studio says.

So make sure to get those games in now before the beta ends, and if you're looking to buy Valorant points, now might be the ideal time so you can get your bonus on top.
