'The Masked Singer' finale: Who won Season 3?

The Masked Singer Season 3 finalists

Recording artist and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss, disguised as Night Angel, won Season 3 of "The Masked Singer" on Fox Wednesday night.

Fox renewed the show for Season 4 earlier this month and said it hopes to begin production this August. Frog was in third place and turned out to be rapper Bow Wow.

"I want to thank everybody for falling in love with the Frog, for all your support and all your love".

"From the very first note, I knew that was Kandi", one fan said after watching the performance. Turtle, who would take second place, was unmasked, revealing former Disney star Jesse McCartney.

After singing Lewis Capaldi's Before You Go, McCartney said: "I've definitely had a lot of "almost" moments". There have been references to his Teen Choice Awards, his stint as a talented surfer in the teen drama series "Summerland", as well as some hints towards his 2004 hit single "Beautiful Soul".

In her package, though, she revealed that she didn't always have the confidence onstage that she does now.

On Wednesday night, May 20, 2020, the show's season finale aired, featuring performances by the remaining three contestants - Night Angel, Turtle and Frog - who had emerged from a field of 18 celebrities to battle for the coveted Golden Mask trophy.

She added: "When I didn't find success as a solo artist, I made a decision to develop other businesses behind the scenes of music. I did what I had to do because I'm a mother".

"You can't Xscape the truth @Kandi, you STILL GOT IT & NEVER LOST IT!"

The US version of "The Masked Singer" is the first non-Asian production of the South Korean hit and has proven extremely popular amongst American audiences since it debuted in January past year with Nick Cannon as its host. "I did what I came here to do, and that was to be the first woman to ever win The Masked Singer". "Stop getting in your own head, telling yourself what you can't do", Burruss said. "But after I saw T-Pain do it, I was like, 'Hmmm. And I just really appreciate you guys for helping me build my confidence back".
