Three years ago, New England engineered a record-breaking 25-point comeback against the Atlanta Falcons to capture its sixth Super Bowl title since Kraft took over the franchise in 1994. The toughest of those to obtain has been sold.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft's Super Bowl 51 (LI) ring just provided provided a big boost to the "All In Challenge", which aims to be the largest virtual fundraiser in history. The unidentified victor beat out 34 other bids, which opened at $75,000 about two weeks ago.

The auction victor, who was not identified, also will receive a personal visit with Kraft at his Gillette Stadium office in Foxborough, Mass.

"We're gonna have a good time as I give you this ring, show you around and maybe have a bite or two", Kraft said when discussing the auction. The price jumped up nearly instantly to more than $330,000, and then surpassed $1 million with nine days left in the auction.

"It showed how we came back".

There were 35 total bids for Kraft's ring, rising from $75,000 to $1.025 million over the past 12 days.

"I thought about what's going on in this time, and I wanted to give something of extreme value in support of our healthcare workers", Kraft said. As of Thursday night, the All In Challenge had raised almost $45.7 million, according to its website.

Fanatics founder and 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin founded the All-In Challenge to battle food insecurity during the coronavirus pandemic.

Other high-profile items at the auction include a private golf lesson from Tiger Woods, now at $190,000, and 18 holes of golf with Phil Mickelson, about at $120,000.
