The tradition of Borderlands 3 DLC with long, clunky titles that don't fit well into headlines will continue in June with the release of Bounty of Blood - A Fistful of Redemption, a tale of a stranger who plays both sides of a vicious blood feud against each other, leaving nothing but death in his wake.
New enemies, low-gravity platforming sections, and environmental puzzles await you on Minos Prime. Similar to Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite, this will be an extreme test of your skills and gear, scaling to the number of players in your party, but designed for four players. Upon arrival, you'll be besieged by a sect of rogue Guardians who have split off from their brethren and have irrevocably transformed Minos Prime. "For the Vault Hunter, it's the Jetbeast, which is half jetbike, half creature".
Borderlands 3 will welcome a western-themed expansion and a bloodthirsty gang called the Devil Riders.
As for the new campaign add-on, you'll be taken to a new setting to the desert planet Gehenna to face off against bandits as you attempt to claim a bounty.
The adventure will feature a mysterious narrator and players will get to meet two new characters; Juno and Rose. The player's choices throughout the story will have a direct impact on the town of Vestige.
Bounty of Blood also features several gameplay additions, like the customizable JetBeast hoverbike that'll help you traverse the open plains quickly and can be outfitted with artillery like dual machine guns and mortar weapons. Elsewhere, new interactive elements include Breezebloom, which allows Vault Hunters to soar into previously inaccessible areas, and Traitorweed, which can temporarily make enemies friends. And of course, there'll be loads of new loot to chase after, including plenty of Western-themed weaponry.
