PUBG Now on Google Stadia, Madden Coming Soon

Google Stadia Gets Electronic Arts Support After Slow Start

Google hosted a Stadia Connect earlier which outlined a number of games coming to the platform. Other juicy nuggets include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order coming this fall and throwback JRPG Octopath Traveler launching today.

PUBG is probably the crown jewel here, and the Pioneer Edition is arriving today for $39.99, which comes with the Survivor Pass: Cold Front as well as exclusive Stadia skins. This includes anyone who is now taking part in the Stadia Pro free trial.

It's nice to see Google ramping up its available games for the cloud-based platform, as its first few months after launch have seen more of a slow trickle than a downpour of available titles. I can't wait to play EA Sports FIFA, Madden NFL, and Star Wars Jedi: "Fallen Order on my favorite screens instantly with the simple click of a button". Jedi: Fallen Order will launch on Stadia sometime this fall, with Federation Internationale de Football Association and Madden set to arrive later this year, during winter. Starting today, Stadia Pro users can claim PUBG for absolutely free and get to playing, while the service's free Stadia Pro games for the month of May are listed as The Turing Test, Zombie Army 4, and Steamworld Heist.

Interestingly, a Dreams-like game called Crayta is set to launch first on Stadia sometime this summer.
