Ryan Reynolds, along with wife and actress Blake Lively, is one of the few celebrities who seem to be handling the coronavirus pandemic in a non-celebrity way.

Uproxx picked up on a post from the Deadpool alum where he jokingly emphasized the importance of listening to him because he has an "important message" and is an "important celebrity".

Answering a call from Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau to get the word out about staying at home.

"Covid-19 is hitting hard all around the world and right across the country", Trudeau says in the video posted on Twitter and watched by more than 1.2 million people and shared by 18,000 as of 1400 GMT.

"In times of crisis, I think we all know that it's the celebrities that we count on most. They're the ones who are going to get us through this", he joked.

The pleas come as the Canadian government is asking residents to stay home, avoid in-person group social activities and to practice proper physical distancing to avoid the spread of COVID-19. "We are going to get through this thing together".

Ryan Reynolds has shared a tongue-in-cheek video message about coronavirus.

Reynolds then asked Barenaked Ladies' Steven Page, Rogan and RCMP constable Terry Reynolds to also spread the word.

The videos have all been shared on Twitter with personal messages.

Looks like there are going to be more videos where those came from, whether it sticks to Canadian celebrities or not.

There is also the son of Tom Hanks who put out some freakish Illuminati video and then days later posted another video with girls wearing bikinis.
