Fortnite's Latest Update Adds Helicopters With Full Squad Support

Fortnite Helicopter

This marks the first time airborne machinery has made its way into Fortnite since the infamous and controversial aeroplanes that were present for a significant part of the game's first chapter previous year.

This popular video game has received a few updates in the past two weeks after season two with a new chapter that came out, but sadly most of it contained bug fixes.

For the first time in a year, Fortnite is adding a new air vehicle. We can see them as soon as possible, i.e., tomorrow, with the new v12.20 update. Contrary to the X-4 Stormwing plane, which was Fortnite's last airborne vehicle, Choppa has no weapons attached.

Before TNTina blew up The Rig today, Brutus etched a skull into The Grotto after he also went "SHADOW" based off players in-game decisions. And now, you can find the Choppa in those secret locations. Since a squad in Fortnite's battle royale mode can have four players, the Choppa seems suitable for other game modes. As well, three new challenges will be added to this mode.

As part of the minor changes in the map, Pleasant Park and the Oil Rig have seen some tweaks. It turns out the football pitch in Pleasant Park has been hiding a helipad, and the Oil Rig has been blown to bits. According to one of Hypex's tweets, the C4 explosion has been delayed from 0.3 seconds to 0.5 seconds and the Grappler has gained a short delay.

There is no way of confirming when theses cosmetics will be released, until they are in the Item Shop or Store, or if Epic Games tease them before release, but we will keep you updated.
