Logic Pro X retails for $199.99 and Final Cut Pro X goes for $299.99. But anyone can take advantage of the offer - it's not been reduced on the UK App Store yet but keep your eyes on the Apple website for the announcement.
Following in the footsteps of Adobe, Affinity and others, Apple has just made their professional-grade video editing program Final Cut Pro X free for 90 days, extending the usual 30-day free trial and even allowing current trial users to re-start their clock. Apple says that the extended trial is already live for Final Cur Pro X and will be honored for recent downloads, while Logic Pro X should gain the extended trial in the coming days. And Logic Pro X, which didn't have any sort of free trial so far, now gets the 90-day trial option as well. Finances are a cause of concern for many at this hard time, and in an effort to help, we've seen a number of services offered for free (here's our round up of free resources now available). The 90-day extension period will be available for a limited time, reverting back to 30 days in the future.
