Netflix 'In Talks' With Warner Bros About More Lucifer

While 4-5 seasons is typical length for a successful Netflix series, and Lucifer has produced more episodes than a regular Netflix original series (its seasons vary between 13-26 episodes in length), the drama, starring Ellis, has remained a strong performer on the streaming platform. Netflix picked up the series for a fourth season, much to fans' delight. "Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support".

Well how do you like that, it sounds as if all of my praying to Satan for a sixth season of LUCIFER might, just might pay off! "The best is yet to come!" At the time, titular star Tom Ellis referred to as the backlash to the cancellation - and subsequent #SaveLucifer marketing campaign - "nothing wanting ridiculously overwhelming", including, "Since doing Lucifer, I've finished press in numerous components of the world, and I'm absolutely conscious that this present is rather more well-liked than what it had appeared to be on Fox..."

Netflix seems to have taken notice.

According to a new report from TVLine, Netflix is believed to be in talks with Warner Bros Television to extend the soapy supernatural drama for another season, although there's no official word yet.

He tweeted: "It has been the most awesome experience over the past 3 years playing Lucifer and falling in love with you, the fans". But we were told production would begin this summer in Vancouver, and the second chapter would hit screens somewhere during 2020.

Speaking to Vulture last May about the limbo between Fox and Netflix, Ellis said: "Gosh, it was such a weird time". Because of this, those fans started a request to save the show for another season.

Netflix and Warner Bros. "Last we saw her, Eve broke Maze's heart". The realistic people in my life kept reminding me of that. The final episode of the third season revealed the truth of Bryce Walker's death, which was the central plot of the third season.
