Manny Pacquiao signs with Paradigm, the same team that handles Conor McGregor

Boxing star Manny Pacquiao signs with Conor McGregor's management agency

'I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that Audie Attar and PSM have to offer, ' Pacquiao said in a release following the news.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Manny Pacquiao, boxing's only eight-division world champion, signed a contract with Paradigm Sports Management - the same company that represents Conor McGregor.

'One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively.

Pacquiao is one of the most famous athletes on earth.

Attar announced on his official Twitter feed that he signed Manny Pacquiao to Paradigm, and posted a photo of himself and the fighting Senator shaking hands and signing a deal at a business meeting in Manila, Philippines.

The Pacquiao-Paradigm partnership only fuels speculation of a boxing match with McGregor. Can not wait to work together. It seems that the cross-promotion fight is going to fall in place since Manny Pacquiao has already signed a contract with Conor McGregor's management firm.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that Manny Pacquiao is the best boxer of the 21st century. Paradigm Sports Management, founded by Audie Attar, said he is now ready to work with Arnold Vegafria, Ping Nepomuceno, Attorney Brando Viernesto, and Jayke Joson, on a fight schedule.

And the fact that the two fighters are now represented by the same company means that matchup should, in theory, be a much easier bout to make, has meant that fans on social media have started to call for the fight to be made while McGregor waits for the victor of the UFC lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 in April.

Whilst the 31-year-old has claimed he plans to fight in UFC three times in 2020 he hasn't been able to get away from rumours of a rematch with Mayweather.

The only eight-division champion in the history of boxing has had a successful 2019 after going two-for-two in the matches previous year against Adrien Broner and Keith Thurman, respectively.
