A ROYAL couple may be meeting with a Sinn Féin Taoiseach in just three weeks' time.

Kate Middleton, 38, visited the Ark Open Farm near Belfast on Wednesday, reports The Mirror.

"This is a picture of the monarchy moving forward, but the pressure is really on the Duchess of Cambridge to make the royals move into the future", royal expert Camilla Tominey told This Morning.

Prince William gets by with a little help from his father Prince Charles.

The Duchess of Cambridge paid homage to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen on the tenth anniversary of his death during her visit, showing up in a Military Jacket and pleated hem skirt by the designer.

During her visit she met local representatives of the charity and families who have benefited from it.

"It's a stark reminder that, as we look to the future, William and Kate will be the only working royals of their generation".

Princess Charlotte is reportedly facing a life full of challenges and responsibility as a result of a landmark change to royal protocol that took place a few years before her birth.

By choosing to wear a dress she already owned, Kate was adhering to Bafta's new sustainable dress code which encouraged guests to either re-wear something they already own or hire an ensemble as opposed to buying something new.

Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall stepped out together for an official visit to the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Stanford Hall in Stanford.

And with Kate making more and more public appearances, it seems that she's ready to take centre stage as one of the royal family's most prominent faces in a time of turmoil.
