Zoe Kravitz Teases Catwoman: 'Very Physical'

She shares when asked if she's had any costume fittings yet: "We've had many".

Catwoman actress Zoe Kravitz appeared on Ellen to provide an update on Catwoman and give us a look at what she might look like as the infamous Batman antagonist and sometimes ally.

Kravitz, 31, added that she's been busy working out and getting in shape ahead of flying to the commence filming. "It's going really well".

Zoe has been doing a "ton of work" to get ready to portray Catwoman and has revealed it is some of the most physically demanding training she's ever undertook.

Ellen states, "This is very exciting".

And, while preparing for The Batman has been going well, Zoe admitted that it hasn't been easy.

The Big Little Lies star made her first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, and during the interview, the star dished on all of her upcoming projects.

"I was bowing to the queen", Kravitz said of Pfeiffer, who played Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992).

Kravitz previously voiced the Catwoman character in 2017's The Lego Batman Movie.

And whereas her exercises have been actually hard, Zoe is happy anyway. [The role is] Very bodily. I come home limping every day. "It's very - it's actually kind of pathetic".

Kravitz, who is the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, is set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Pfeiffer. And I'm type of nervous to be in her presence now, ' Zoe advised the host.

The Batman has a June 25, 2021 release directed by Matt Reeves, co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, Michael Giacchino is scoring the music, and the film also stars Robert Pattinson as the titular character and Bruce Wane, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell is playing Penguin, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jayme Lawson as Bella, and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, with Peter Sarsgaard in an unknown role.
