Now that Buckingham Palace and Queen Elizabeth II have issued statements declaring the terms under which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will step away from their royal duties, the couple is now free to start earning some money.

The bundle includes a number of items from her time on "Suits" that she has worn since returning to the Great White North but never donned in Blighty, "ET" said. As such, they will be making a move towards being financially independent, as previously announced.

Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, is slamming his daughter and Prince Harry's decision to remove themselves from the royal family.

Channel 5 released part of the interview Sunday and said the full documentary would air "in the coming weeks", according to Reuters. "They are turning it into a Walmart with a crown on it, they shouldn't be doing this".

The Saturday statement asserts that the couple, along with their son Archie, will remain "much loved members of my family".

Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England, will remain the couple's family home in the United Kingdom, according to the statement, but the palace said they have expressed a wish to repay taxpayers for the cost of refurbishing the home.

Markle, whose strained relationship with his daughter complicated her entry into the Royal Family, said he is "embarrassed" by Harry and Meghan's decision, describing them as "lost souls". "I recognize the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life". As part of the new agreement, Harry and Meghan will step back from all royal duties, including official military appointments.

"Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family", the Queen said.

The Sussexes may keep "private patronages and associations", although it is often hard to make a distinction between public and private royal charity work.

The queen added that she was "particularly proud" of how quickly Meghan became one of the family.

It's also worth noting that both Harry and Meghan have sizeable net worths of their own, as well as a strong earning potential now that they are no longer working royals. "While they can no longer formally represent The Queen, the Sussexes have made clear that everything they do will continue to uphold the values of Her Majesty", the statement added. Speculation suggests Meghan might get back to her acting career - and that she has already been negotiating a voiceover job with Disney.
