Arrow's Stephen Amell Comments on Crisis on Infinite Earths Ending

Ezra Miller's The Flash appears on'Crisis On Infinite Earths

Beginning at 8 p.m. EST and continuing through DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m., time is running out to save the multiverse in the "Crisis on Infinite Earths". "Was I the only one that didn't know?!" Midway through the Arrow portion of the annual CW crossover, Ezra Miller's big-screen version of The Flash appeared opposite Grant Gustin's Barry Allen.

We started out the event last fall with many delightful cameos and guest spots and nods, including actors from older DC movies, like Robert Whul of the Tim Burton Batman and Brandon Routh reprising his role as Superman from Superman Returns, but no one really expected anyone from the current big DC movies to show up...but somehow, the folks at DC films and television made it happen. "Thank you to DC Comics". "When we finally got to that last one, I don't know..."

Apparently, Miller's Barry got his superhero codename from his brief interaction with Gustin's Barry. It may have even been his first time in the Speed Force.

For example, the scene implied that the crisis that led to the extinguishing of the entire Arrow multiverse did not affect the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). As it turns out, Miller wasn't added until very late in the game.

After the Crisis' shocking midseason conclusion, you can rest assured that fans are eager to see both the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow installments, as the game-changing crossover comes to an end in the two-part two-show special. Though the crisis is never explicitly mentioned, Miller's dumbstruck response suggests nothing has happened on his Earth-after all, it would be hard to forget the skies turning red and everything you know being obliterated.

Confirming my Comic-Con scoop, tonight's episode of Crisis On Infinite Earths features Ezra Miller as The Flash and connects to the DCEU.

To recap, in a final stand against the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett), Oliver used his new powers as Spectre to create Earth Prime and bring everyone the Anti-Monitor had killed back to life. Until now, that was by far Crisis on Infinite Earths' most surprising cameo.
