Badgers will play OR in Rose Bowl

Will Penn State return to the Rose Bowl for the second time in four years

The two teams last met in the 98th edition of the Rose Bowl in 2012.

This will be the Badgers' 10th Rose Bowl appearance.

This will be a rematch of the 2012 Grandaddy of Them All, No. 6 OR vs.

The Ducks and Badgers are regular New Year's Day visitors to Pasadena.

Coming off a competitive game vs. the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, the University of Wisconsin has punched their ticket into the 106th Rose Bowl to take on OR on New Year's Day.


The Badgers haven't won the Rose Bowl since 2000.

The announcement was made Sunday, December 8th after the Badgers loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game, 34-21.

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit tweeted a message for OR and Wisconsin fans ahead of the game.

The game will be played at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California at 2 pm on ESPN.
