Ohio State expects 4-game ban for Chase Young

Ohio State linebacker Pete Werner left tackles Maryland running back Anthony Mc Farland during the first half of an NCAA college football game Saturday Nov. 9 2019 in Columbus Ohio

James' stance against the NCAA is nothing new.

On his personal Twitter account, Young acknowledged he had "made a mistake previous year by accepting a loan from a family friend" that he "repaid... in full last summer".

The biggest story in sports right now has to do with the NCAA suspending Chase Young for allegedly taking a loan to help pay for his girlfriend to attend the Rose Bowl.

Ohio State defensive end Chase Young is expected to receive a four-game suspension for accepting a loan from a family friend in 2018, sources told ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit. "And since y'all always wanna know more he paid it back to his family member".

Nobody seems to be on the side of the NCAA, and that includes LeBron James.

In another post, James said, "They don't care about them kids at all".

It is a school's decision to play, or not play, an athlete, according to the NCAA. That would mean he'd be out for PSU's trip to Ohio Stadium on November 23 and also games against Maryland, Rutgers, and MI. The organization is waiting to hear back from Ohio State as to whether Young did violate any rules, and if a violation did occur, the association would then decide how long the suspension will last.

The Falcons are in the middle of a awful season, but with a potential top-five pick on the horizon, one player that fans seem to have their hearts set on is Ohio State DE Chase Young. There's talk of him being the No. 1 overall pick in April's National Football League draft, too, if he opted to leave Ohio State early.
