Aldi's 2019 Christmas advert sees Kevin defeat the Leafy Blinders to throw his Christmas show.

The nation's favourite carrot will make a return to TV screens on Thursday (November 7) at 5.30pm on ITV.

However, Kevin now faces an adversary in new character Russell Sprout, and his Brummy gang of "Leafy Blinders". The clip saw Kevin in a spot of bother, when an angry gang of brussels sprouts look on.

In the advert, we see Kevin the Carrot being held captive by the Leafy Blinder's leader, Russell Sprout, before he escapes with the help of Tiny Tom, the tomato.

Missing posters had sprung up everywhere as our favourite carrot had gone missing. With Kevin tied to a cheese grater, Russel the Sprout (sporting a Birmingham accent and signature flat-cap, ) warns Kevin that the 'show is over'. He successfully delivers his "Christmas Spectacular' alongside Katie and the kids".

He then breaks out in song, singing Robbie William's "Let Me Entertain You", with a few lyrics changed to suit the festive spirit.

"We're all delighted to see Kevin back on our screens again, getting up to his usual tricks".

"Kevin's popularity grows every year and he's becoming something of a national treasure!" "Kevin's magical Big Top is the ideal environment to showcase the fantastic quality of the Aldi Christmas range of food and drink this year".

It doesn't have to be all doom and gloom though - because there's a carrot named Kevin who's back in our lives, bringing joy, fun, and vegetable-based delight to all the family.

As well as appearing in the adverts, Kevin merchandise has become popular, with Kevin The Carrot toys causing high excitement when they were released in Aldi stores.
