Android Police reports thatASUS is rolling out Android 10 with the latest October 2019 security updates right now. The changelog also mentions Support for Google Play System Update which is the new way certain updates will be delivered (via the Play Store). The update also does away with the onscreen navigation keys with the introduction of new gesture-based UI navigation.

The distribution of the new OTA update to the Zenfone 6 and 6Z has only started in the past few hours. While the brand has fulfilled the first promise, it is to be seen if the brand holds up to its commitment to update the Zenfone 6/6Z to Android R (Or Android 11) OS. In terms of memory, the 6Z has 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. All that said, Asus is yet to announce the update rollout officially.
