Police find body of missing woman in desert near Las Vegas

The alleged perpetrator, Christopher Prestipino, appeared before Las Vegas Justice Court on October 16, having already been charged with the counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and kidnapping.

In the early hours of that morning, she was recorded on surveillance videos in residential areas, in lingerie and heels, trying to open the door of a house about 300 meters from where Prestipino lived.

During the investigation police uncovered that Ms Gonzalez had been at Mr Prestipino's residence where they allege she was held against her will, strangled and injected with pool cleaner before her body was dumped the desert.

According to the media outlet, the authorities believe that a body "encased in a concrete and wooden structure", which was found in the Las Vegas desert on 8 October, belongs to Gonzales, and are now attempting to identify the cadaver via DNA test.

Allegedly, she then walked in the direction of Prestipino's property. Anonymous information provided on July 18 eventually led investigators to the missing body and turned the missing-person case into a murder investigation.

"Prestipino rented a U-Haul, and the victim's body was dumped in the desert", Chief Deputy District Attorney Pamela Weckerly wrote in court documents, obtained by the Review-Journal.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on murder charges after a woman's body was found encased in a concrete and wooden structure in a Nevada desert. He told police he'd found her southwest Las Vegas home with the lights left on and the front door unlocked.

Gonzalez, who reportedly worked in the adult entertainment industry, maintained a viral presence on Instagram. "Christopher was not aware of Esmeralda's mental problems, and she began to behave weird and speak in the language of the devil". Gonzalez and Prestipino allegedly used drugs at Prestipino's place on the day of the killing.

The man thought she was dead, but after a while, she woke up and started punching him. In the meantime, it was also the Casandra Bascones was arrested after an informer to her pointed out, if it is possible mededader.

Prestipino's girlfriend, Lisa Mort, 31, is accused of harboring, hiding or helping a felony offender, police said.

Two days later, Prestipino was on a flight to Belize, police said. Before his capture, Christopher Prestipino was heard telling Lisa Mort not to talk with anyone in taped jail phone calls, the sources report.
