Pixelbook Go leaks in full: What to expect from next-gen Chromebook

Pixel 3 XL Mainline Google Play Update

The images and video shared in the report are said to be of a prototype of Google Pixelbook Go.

With the Made by Google event coming up in just a few short days the leak train continues this time with the incoming Chrome OS powered Pixelbook Go leaking in a full hands-on, props to the team from 9to5 Google for getting such a detailed hands on.

Returning to the design of the Pixelbook GO, it features a well-spaced island-style keyboard which is flanked by loudspeakers on either side. The top is some sort of soft-matte finish, similar to what you might find on Google's Pixel phones.

Google is about to launch a wide variety of products at its upcoming "Made By Google" event which is scheduled for the 15th of October.

This Pixelbook Go prototype has a coral-colored bottom that features ripples.

The device is equipped with a 13.3-inch touchscreen display with 16:9 aspect ration and customers will be able to choose between a Full HD or 4K "Molecular Display".

Google's previous Pixelbook laptops haven't really been all that popular in the past, and the Pixelbook Go is likely going to follow the same route.

The video also illustrates the audio quality of the prototype's two front-facing speakers, which according to 9to5Google, deliver exceptional sound. We do think there will be other variants such as Core i5 and i7, 16GB of RAM, and 128GB and 256GB storage configurations. Alongside this "Not Pink" version, there should be a "Just Black" color too. For connectivity, this laptop might come with Two USB-C ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi and Bluetooth options.

Knowing the Pixelbook and Pixel Slate were expensive Chrome devices from Google, I can't imagine this being cheap.
