Google Pixel 4 boasts of more powerful camera, motion sensor, new apps

Google Pixel 4 xl all colors just black clearly white oh so orange

So either Google threw this out as an unnecessary precaution or still hasn't perfected it quite yet since this option won't be available on the Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL when they go on sale next week, the company told BBC News.

With 6GB RAM, a 90hz display, and Pixel Neural Core, Pixel 4 is faster and more powerful.

Pixel 4 is the first handset where Face Unlock will be available.

The new Pixel 4 comes with the series' largest camera upgrade yet. Again there were statements on security and privacy that Google is going to ensure with new products.

Whether this will bring with it hardware improvements to the fingerprint scanner is yet to be seen, as mass production for new OLED units begins next year. Combined with the Super Res Zoom software, the camera provides you exceptional image quality. Perhaps Google doesn't want to release a half-baked Pixel 4 in a very competitive country. Breakthroughs in speech processing mean that more requests can happen right on the phone, without having to be sent to the cloud. Google representatives didn't indicate to Android Police whether this decision could change in the future. It can quickly open apps, search your phone, share what's on your screen, and more. Then, you can share a picture by saying "send it to Mom".

The Google Pixel 4 has a radar sensor, dubbed Project Soli during development, and now called Motion Sense. "Someone unauthorized - a child or partner? - could unlock the phone without your permission by putting it in front of your face while you're asleep".

However, the Google Pixel 4 support website informs customers, "your phone can also be unlocked by someone else if it's held up to your face, even if your eyes are closed", telling them to switch on "lockdown" mode which deactivates facial recognition.

The phone was introduced to the public this week and will be available for purchase as of October 24.
