Tekashi 6ix9ine Labels Trippie Redd A "Gang Member" During Court Testimony

Tekashi 6ix9ine Labels Trippie Redd A

When asked, the 23-year-old performer denied he was ever initiated into Nine Trey, but merely served as the financial supporter of the group, due to his viral fame and music success. During his testimony, the rapper exposed Trippie Redd, as a former gang member.

In addition to that, Fif also mentioned that he never gave Tekashi his phone number because he knew the heat was coming and wanted nothing to do with it. "Tekashi 6ix9ine never had my phone number in his phone 'cause I already [knew] the heat that would come [because of] the things that were actually happening", 50 explained.

Hernandez claimed he and Trippipe were both on the same label, and even collaborated on a track together, however, bitter jealousy and rivalry turned into online beef and then physical violence. 6ix9ine admitted that he told his former manager, Kifano "Shotti" Jordan of his intentions of targeting Trippie. In the same way that Salvatore "Sammy The Bull" Gravano will forever be synonymous with the mob, Tekashi 6ix9ine will no doubt become a part of Hip-Hop history as the most famous snitch to have ever dropped hit records only to drop dimes in a court room. Shotti said he'd get the gang on it, and they orchestrated an attack on the rapper at his hotel.

Tekashi testified defendant Anthony "Harv" Ellison punched Trippie in the mouth, and from that point on, he used Harv as his bodyguard. Video accompanied Tekashi's testimony, which shows Harv telling Tekashi to give him money or they were going to shoot him.

According to the New York Times, however, Tekashi does testify to participating in the gang's activities, which included "lots of crimes ..."

Though he faces up to 47 years in prison, Tekashi could receive a lenient sentence due to his cooperation.
