An upcoming update for LG's 2019 4K 55- to 75-inch OLED TVs will add Nvidia G-Sync support, the TV maker said Tuesday in a statement.

Users can also take advantage of HDMI 2.1 specifications such as auto low latency mode, enhanced audio return channel and variable refresh rate.

To heighten sense of immersion when playing games or watching fast content, LG's 2019 OLED TVs support cinematic audio formats including Dolby Atmos and groundbreaking Dolby TrueHD lossless sound technology.

The update isn't to say that Nvidia is adding G-Sync hardware to LG's 2019 OLED TVs, which has historically been the case for monitors to feature Nvidia's G-Sync technology.

After announcing a range of OLED TVs for home entertainment, South Korean electronics manufacturer LG has announced the addition of G-SYNC compatibility. Now that GeForce powers them, gamers playing titles like Control can benefit from the power of Ray-Tracing technology which renders realistic and lifelike lighting effects.
