Kevin Hart released from hospital after spine-breaking car crash

Hart was hospitalized after suffering major injuries in a auto accident early on September 1 morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

Hart's wife, Eniko Parrish, told TMZ that the "Ride Along" actor is doing well and is expected to recover fully since he is going through "intense physical therapy".

The report also says Kevin is "glad" to get out of the L.A. hospital he's called home for 10 days. Hart's goal is to get home "as soon as possible", where he can start outpatient care.

A 1970 Plymouth Barracuda met the accident which was driven by Jared black and the owner, Kevin Hart was at the passenger seat.

As E! News previously reported, Hart was in the passenger seat of his vintage muscle vehicle when the driver, friend Jared Black, veered off Mulholland Highway in Malibu, Calif. and landed in a ditch.

The "Jumanji" star has been recovering well from all of his injuries. Also in the auto at the time of the accident was Rebecca Broxterman, 31, Hart and his wife's personal trainer.

ET spoke with Hart's good friend, Tiffany Haddish, at the Harper's Bazaar ICONS event at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on Friday, where she gave us an update on his condition. Thank God, it could've been a lot worse. "I wish him the best". He's a lucky man.

And Kevin Hart is doing "amazing" post surgery as wife Eniko reported on Thursday morning that the family is taking things slowly with his recovery.

The accident is now being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
