Representatives and family members of Schumacher have not publicly commented on the treatment.

"You can be sure that he is in the very best of hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to help him".

Michael Schumacher is one of the biggest names in the world of sports and the most successful racer in the history of Formula One holding a record of 91 Grand Prix wins.
