Blowout loss to Ravens has Dolphins' players wanting out

The players are hoping to leave the Dolphins as the franchise look more and more committed to tanking through 2019 in an effort to rebuild through the 2020 NFL Draft. And with Brian Flores' primary objective being to create a tough football team, there may be some players who have bought too far into the old way of doing things to be a part of the future here in South Florida.

Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories. Any Dolphins players who saw the bloodbath on Sunday and immediately wanted to pull the plug on their time in Miami likely had their minds made up that this year was going to be bad.

Eguavoen started 18 games with Saskatchewan last season, recording 81 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception.

While Flores denied the team's intention to tank, the situation isn't entirely in his control. If they do, we're guessing it will be a case of "take a number" because the line to get out will be long. Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio writes, "Per a league source with knowledge of the situation, multiple Dolphins players contacted their agents after Sunday's season-opening blowout loss and directed them to attempt to engineer trades elsewhere".

While Josh Rosen didn't make a particularly convincing argument for the starting job Sunday when he made his regular-season debut for Miami, the circumstance he was thrust into was pretty harsh.

Brown, who finalized his deal with the New England Patriots on Monday, took time to interact with a fan while he was driving near Gillette Stadium on Tuesday.
