Acer Swift 5 is the "world’s lightest 14-inch notebook"

ASUS announces ASUSPRO B9, the world’s lightest 14” laptop with a remarkable 94% screen-to-body ratio

The Swift 3 packs a lot of power into its 15.95 mm thin chassis with up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor with Intel Iris Plus graphics and an optional discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU.

The Acer Swift 3 offers a 14-inch FHD IPS display and comes in Steel Gray and Millennial Pink color options. Despite its 14.9mm ultra-thin body, it is tested to harsh US MIL-STD 810G military standards. If you take one hard look at it, you can see why we are absolutely flabbergasted that it houses a new 10th Generation Intel Core processor, and Nvidia graphics. Elsewhere, it sports the same USB 3.1 Type-C connector, dual-band Intel Wi-Fi 6 and support for Windows Hello through a fingerprint reader. "It has a 14" Full HD IPS touch-screen that boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 86.4% thanks to its 3.97mm narrow bezel at the sides. Inside is what Acer describes as a 12.5 hour battery and "fast charging" that'll bring 4 hours of battery life in around 30 minutes of charge time.

Acer refreshed its Swift 3 and Swift 5 laptops with 10th Gen Intel Core processors. Especially with how light the company always manages to make them.

The Acer Swift 5 is a 14-inch laptop that Acer highlights is the "lightest in its class". So lightweight that it weights just 990 g. Connectivity options for the device include a USB3.1 Type-C with Thunderbolt 3, and also dual-band Intel Wi-Fi 6 support. Acer did not specify the maximum amount of RAM, but in all probability it can be configured with up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. This feature allows the user to login via fingerprint reader for easy and more secure access.

Next up, there is the refreshed Acer Swift 3, which is set for availability this November starting at $700.

Other options are USB hub, camera for livestreaming, headset holder, and seat stabilizer. From service-oriented technologies to the Internet of Things to gaming and virtual reality, Acer's 7,000+ employees are dedicated to the research, design, marketing, sale, and support of products and solutions that break barriers between people and technology.
